Create your workout routine from home.  The gym that is always open.

Our home gym has been in the making since we moved into this house 8 years ago!  We started with just a couple of weights, and acquired some equipment from family and friends.  We've been adding on to it bit by bit each year, and it is slowly growing.  Currently, it is still in an unfinished area in my basement.  I workout amidst storage and our laundry area, but I adore this space!

Stay tuned ~ we are working on addition to our house and the new room in the basement will be a finished workout room/game room... I'm so excited!

 

The fact is, you don't need a lot of space or equipment at all, to start.  A little corner of a room is all you need.  When you work out in your own home, there is no need to worry about what you're wearing, or even if you remembered to bring your sneakers!

BOD Library & Bodi Workouts & Trainers

I have worked through several Beachbody On Demand full programs, Bodi Blocks, and Live Interactive workouts; some of them multiple times!  Our trainers are engaging, skilled, and motivating.  The library that becomes available to you as a member is amazing and worth $-thousands-$!  Hit programs like P90X and 21 Day Fix, and so much more ~ yoga, kickboxing, heavy lifting, dance, barre, HIIT, and cycling.

Sometimes people will say to me that they can't work out at home or without the gym community.  I challenge that perspective (for those who haven't given it an honest try); this amazing community is not only one you can be connected with, but one that can motivate you to keep coming back and giving it your all!  You can feel connected to the trainers and their cast members, and easily join groups led by them, to receive even more feedback and tips.  Additionally, you get ongoing support from me as your coach, and from our virtual accountability team.  The BODi community as a whole is positive, encouraging, and full of love! 

Combine elements of cardio, weight training, and stretching, and keep your body guessing!

Movement is good.  Walks, biking, running, dancing, jumping ~ it's all good. Keep that heart pumping and build endurance as you go.  The more you move now, the more you will be able to move later.

Weight training is a vital part of your exercise routine.  It builds strength and helps you burn mega calories.

​

Many of the workout programs I can point you to, have HIIT and cardio components as well as weight training.  Depending on your interests and goals - we can pick a program or block training  that best suits you.

​

Stability & mobility training  and recovery workouts are something that I have learned to really value.  Functional training helps your ability to workout more effectively and also aids you in the movements and actions of your everyday life.

 

In order to avoid plateaus in your progress, and as a way to support ongoing engagement, it's important to change things up every now and again!  Stepping out of our comfort zone and trying something new is what brings the most growth.  This is why the BODi platform is so awesome!  There is always something new to try and someone new to learn from!
